JOB TITLE:  CG Environment modeller
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £2200 fixed fee

Location: In-house or Remote

We are looking for an experienced 3D Modeller to create a stylized interior environment. The set will be rendered in Blender using the line art modifier and non-photorealistic shading to achieve a 2D, hand-drawn look.

General Duties:

  • Model a complete interior environment based on provided references or concept art.
  • Create painterly, hand-crafted textures that support a stylized, non-photorealistic (NPR) aesthetic.
  • Prepare the scene for rendering in Blender with line art modifier linework and NPR materials.
  • Ensure all models and textures work cohesively within a 2D-inspired visual style.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and deliver production-ready final files.

Essential skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience modeling stylized environments with painterly or hand-painted textures.
  • Strong proficiency in Blender, including NPR workflows and line art modifier integration.
  • Strong artistic sensibility and understanding of stylized visual language.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently within a short project timeline.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant stylized or NPR environment work.
