It was a pleasure to visit students at creative college boomsatsuma recently to support them with their upcoming animation module.
Our head of production, Duncan, talked through the steps it takes to turn an idea into a finished animation project, as well as what his role entails.
The students are all studying games design, VFX and VR at boomsatsuma, which focuses on giving students the skills to pursue careers in the film and TV industry.
Duncan explained the importance of each part of the animation production pipeline, from the script to the storyboard to the animatic and so on. The students were then shown an example of a finished product, The Musical World of Mister Zoink.
