Evgenia Golubeva, one of our series co-directors here at A Productions, met students studying animation at Nottingham Trent University this week.
The students, who were either in their third year or studying for a Master’s degree, presented their work to Evgenia, who then offered feedback and advice. Their work ranged from character design to animatic to concept art. Later in the day, Evgenia gave a talk to the students, including those in first and second year, sharing the story of their career journey so far and insights into their work at A Productions.
Evgenia talked to the students about Digital Girl, a new adventure-comedy superhero series being produced by A Productions with Cyber Group Studios as worldwide distributor.
Evgenia said: “The students were brilliant; very engaged in the session and keen to hear about life in the animation industry and the routes into it, as well as my work at A Productions. It was great to be able to share some insights, feedback and tips to support the students’ future professional development. A big thank you to Nottingham Trent University and all the students and staff for welcoming me so warmly.”
