We are thrilled to share the news that Andy Fossey, animation director in our team here at A Productions, won an industry award at Manchester Animation Festival (MAF) last week.
Andy scooped the Industry Excellence Award in Character Animation for his work on Pip and Posy Let’s Learn: Subtraction Shop episode.

The 2024 Industry Excellence Awards, supported by Maxon, recognise individuals working in the industry in the fields of writing, storyboarding and character animation, and took place alongside the Film Awards. A ceremony was hosted by comedian, author and animation enthusiast Alasdair Beckett-King.

Pip and Posy Let’s Learn, for 3 to 5 year-olds, is a new off-shoot from the hit show produced by Magic Light Pictures, based on the books illustrated by Axel Scheffler (The Gruffalo). The series is produced by Magic Light Pictures, with animation services provided by our team here at A Productions. The 26 five-minute episodes are available on Sky Kids.
