Garden Square is being pitched at Cartoon Forum 2026 this week.
An animated TV Series (52 x 7’) for upper pre-school ages 5-6 created by Jonathan Clarke, Garden Square is directed by Caroline Attia and developed by Distillery Films with support from Screen Ireland/Fís Éireann. It will be produced in collaboration with Watch Next Media (France) and our team here at A Productions.
It is supported at Cartoon Forum by Ireland’s national broadcaster RTÉ and Screen Ireland/Fís Éireann.
Cartoon Forum is a pitching & co-production forum for animated TV projects. For 3 days in Toulouse, from 14 to 17 September, producers have the opportunity to pitch their project in front of 1,000 broadcasters, investors and other potential partners from 40 countries.

We were drawn to the way the show captures real-life observations through the eyes of a child, as well as an authentic family dynamic, particularly among the siblings.”
Garden Square is home to Hazel (5), Mimi (4), and siblings Olivia (4) and Noah (2); four mini problem-solvers who tackle life’s big questions through the magical art of play. While the grown-ups are busy doing extremely boring adult things (like drinking coffee… again), the kids are off on far more important missions: surviving a trip to the doctor, preparing for a haircut, welcoming a new friend, or convincing everyone they’re definitely ready for a pet dog.
Garden Square presents a world where children lead with curiosity, and the adults around them are always there to cheer them on, doing their best to give them the space to explore, imagine, and grow.
