A Productions has featured once again in Televisual’s annual survey of the top independent TV production companies in the UK.
The Production 100 survey, which has been running for over 35 years, provides a collective view of the TV production sector.
Independently-owned A Productions, which marks its 40th birthday this year, is included among Televisual’s list of ‘True Indies’.
Katherine McQueen, managing director of A Productions, said: “It’s a special year for us as A Productions marks 40 years in business and it’s fantastic to see the studio recognised in this prestigious list as we celebrate this milestone.
“Our incredibly talented team is at the heart of everything we do, brimming with creativity and so much passion for creating beautiful, authentic content for children and their families.”
“At animation specialist A Productions, they are seeing ‘some green shoots of recovery and a boost in enquiries’, which is positive sign that the industry is turning a corner”, reported Televisual.
The magazine highlighted award nods for shows we have worked on, including JoJo and Gran Gran, The Makery and Pip and Posy Let’s Learn, as well as our focus on developing a portfolio of our own original content.
JoJo and Gran Gran was produced for CBeebies by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in association with A Productions, who produced the animation.
The Makery was commissioned by Sky Kids and is produced by Terrific Television. Animation and effects for the show were provided by A Productions for Terrific Television.
Pip and Posy Let’s Learn was produced by Magic Light Pictures for Sky Kids with animation services provided by A Productions.
