Double RTS award nomination for A Productions

The A Productions team has clinched two award nominations for its work on JoJo and Gran Gran and Pip and Posy Let’s Learn.

The Royal Television Society (RTS) West of England has announced the nominations for its annual awards, which are a celebration of the region’s creative community.

The shortlist for the Children’s Award for excellence in the production of Factual and Entertainment Programme/Content or Series or Animation, produced for the children’s audience and broadcast during children’s air-time, includes:

• JoJo and Gran Gran – A Productions and BBC Studios Kids and Family
• Pip and Posy Let’s Learn – A Productions & Magic Light Pictures

JoJo and Gran Gran is produced for CBeebies by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in association with our team here at A Productions, who produced the animation. The show, which is inspired by characters created by Laura Henry-Allain MBE, celebrates that special relationship between a grandparent and a child. A Productions worked on all three series.

Pip and Posy Let’s Learn, for 3 to 5 year-olds, is a new off-shoot from the hit show produced by Magic Light Pictures, based on the books illustrated by Axel Scheffler (The Gruffalo). The series is produced by Magic Light Pictures, with animation services provided by our team here at A Productions. The 26 five-minute episodes are available on Sky Kids.

The RTS West of England Awards will take place on the evening of Sunday 27th April at the Bristol Old Vic.
