Katherine McQueen, our joint managing director, has been elected to Royal Television Society (RTS) West of England committee.
The RTS West of England centre represents members from across the TV industry in the West, with the RTS West of England Awards a key event each year where incredible talent and creativity from the region are celebrated.
Katherine has been joint managing director of A Productions since 2019 having begun her career as a production assistant at the company. A leading, creative-led animation production studio, A Productions is trusted to work with some of the world’s most iconic characters in children’s TV and film.
Katherine’s career highlights include producing animation for Sesame Street and the show’s first animated special for Sesame Workshop and working with BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions on JoJo & Gran Gran for CBeebies.
Katherine is a vehement champion of diversity and inclusion on and off the screen.
She said: “It’s a privilege to join the RTS West of England committee, an organisation that celebrates and represents people from across the region’s vibrant TV sector. I will bring with me my passion for supporting diverse talent into the industry, particularly from underrepresented groups.”
