Created by Tanya Scott and Sam Morrison, The Underglow introduces preschoolers to a hidden, magical garden — a world just out of sight from humans. The Underglow inhabitants portray an understanding of the value of everything: from the world they live in, to the people they know, to the items they often find, which they use in new and imaginative ways.

Working in partnership with Finnish animation production studio Gigglebug to produce the new series, The Underglow is all about inspiring curiosity and wonder in children and was developed in partnership with the BBC as part of BBC Ignite.

A Productions is an award-winning animation studio based in central Bristol. Our success in creating engaging, original and award-winning content is made possible through the unique chemistry of the creative teams we build. This shared vision is underpinned by our focus on diversity and inclusion, staff wellbeing and ensuring an authentic voice across all our productions. Delivering a creative, inclusive work community that encourages collaboration, engagement and mutual trust at its core.
